Frequently Asked Questions
Who do you serve?
We serve adults (18+) with physical disabilities, developmental disabilities, and autism spectrum disorder in the Washington DC metro area, including Northern Virginia and Maryland.
How do I get started?
Simply reach out through our contact page or give us a call. We'll schedule a free initial conversation to learn about your needs and explain how we can help — no commitment required.
Do you accept Medicaid?
Yes. Many of our services are covered through DC's Medicaid waiver programs, including the Developmental Disabilities (DD) waiver and the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) waiver. We can help you understand your coverage.
What areas do you serve?
We primarily serve Washington DC, Northern Virginia (Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax), and suburban Maryland (Montgomery County, Prince George's County). Contact us if you're unsure whether we serve your area.
Do you offer in-home support?
Yes. Many of our life skills and community support services can be delivered in your home or in community settings. We work with you to find the arrangement that fits your life best.
How are support plans created?
Every support plan starts with a thorough assessment and a conversation — with you, and with your family if you'd like. We build plans around your goals, preferences, and strengths, not a one-size-fits-all template.
What if my needs change over time?
We review and update support plans regularly. If your circumstances change — a new goal, a health change, a life transition — we adjust with you. You're never locked into a plan that no longer fits.
Can family members be involved in care?
Absolutely. We welcome family involvement at whatever level feels right to you. We also offer dedicated support and education for family members and caregivers.
